Tai Chi is a mind-body discipline, much in the way that Yoga is. But Tai Chi is much easier on the body itself while it increases memory, de-stresses the practitioner, and helps prevent falls. Gentle and reiterative, it is perfect for people of all ages and abilties.
I am Carol, your Tai Chi instructor and partner in improving your overall well-being. My classes are all free of charge (unless it's a private class). After all, good health is not just for people who can afford it. I have been doing Tai Chi for 12 years and teaching for 9 of those years; I've met the most amazing people in this part of my journey and I'm pretty sure you are one of them!
During the fall/winter months, you will find us at Greenacres Freedom Park (2400 Pinehurst Rd., Greenacres 33413. M-F 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Feel free to contact me for actual date change.
After World Tai Chi Day (which occurs yearly on the last Saturday of April (see below), we can be found at Greenacres Community Center (501 Swain Blvd., Greenacres 33413. M-F 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.
Other Classes: Royal Palm Beach Recreation Center, 100 Sweet Bay Lane RPB, Fl. on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 10, with a 2nd beginner class which starts at 10:15 a.m. A third beginner class also occurs on Wednesdays from 2-3 pm .

Qigong translates to "breathing exercise." It prepares us mentally and physically to practice Tai Chi.
A perfect introduction to Tai Chi, this is the first of all martial arts forms and teaches the basic moves for both arms and legs.
Known as The Pearl of Immortality, this forn depicts 2 dragons, playing with the pearl of immortality. Presumably, the winner of their game becomes immortal.
Known as the "Circle Form," this may be the simplest of all the forms, as only 8 moves are involved.
A complex form with both gentle, soft movements combined with agressive, hard motions, this form is a challenge.
Complex yet simple this form builds on moves already known.
A gentle Sun (pronounced "soon") style form, this sensitive and beautiful form was created by Dr. Paul Lam in order to treat and ameliorate the effects of arthritis.
